Steve Halstead - Lead Pastor
Steve Halstead is married to his beautiful wife Andrea and together they have been blessed with seven kiddos and one son-in-law. (Koty, Jayla (Andrew), Maddie, Aviya, Toby, Elli, and Waverly) He grew up north of Philadelphia where he met Andrea at a local Dairy Queen. He then attended Ethnos360 Bible Institute while Andrea attended Huntington College. In 1998 they married and both transferred to Lancaster Bible College where Steve earned his degree in Bible with a focus on youth ministry and Andrea earned her degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, they moved to Williamsport where Steve began his pastorate ministry. He loves being used by God to communicate the Word so that people "hear and understand" and "see and perceive". (Isaiah 6:9-10)
Rick Jones - Elder
Rick grew up in Northumberland Pennsylvania where he met and married his lovely wife Melissa. Together they have three children, Kelsey, Bryce and Brock and four grandchildren, which keep them busy and happy. Rick and Melissa married in 1990 and moved to Lancaster, PA where Rick earned his B.S. in Bible. Later in 2013 Rick earned his M.A. from Liberty University. Rick and Melissa have served in various roles in the church through the years from small group leader, teacher, elder, fundraiser, and church planter. Rick and Melissa enjoy encouraging the body of Christ. A guiding verse for Rick and Melissa has been John 3:17, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
Scott Pershall - Elder
Scott is married to Jessica, and they live in Williamsport with their four children: Gabe, Tyler, Elijah, and Raven. Scott was born and raised in Elverson, PA. After earning a B.A. in History through Millersville University, he spent three years in North Africa as a middle school teacher and was involved in various community outreach programs. Returning to Pennsylvania in 2008 to serve as the Program Director at Camp Susque in Trout Run, Scott became involved in local church through leading worship, preaching, facilitating small home groups, and leading youth ministries. He currently works as a warehouse manager. Scott and Jessica have a heart to serve the family of Jesus in whatever capacity He allows. As a young man, Scott was encouraged by his Dad with the words of 2 Timothy 2:2: “ and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”
